Morning on the Swedish Coast…Now Back in Germany
Arriving in Germany did rather feel like arriving back at home. Suddenly we’ve travelled from a country where I don’t understand the language at all, to a country whose radio stations I can listen to and understand.
Germany to Norway
Norway felt more different, for some reason. Yellow road markings for a start. I don’t think I’ve ever seen those outside of Greece before.

Germany is Boiling
The 10 day forecast shows there being little chance of the daytime temperature dropping below 20 for the forseeable future. There are some small thunderstorms forecast for tomorrow but not everywhere will see anything.

I woke up to another warm and Sunny day in Germany. I had a long drive ahead of me so didn’t want to hang around too much.
Sunshine, Storms & Forests
The TV weather forecast last night showed temperatures in the East of the country to 34 – but also issued a severe weather warning for heavy rain and thunderstorms, for a large part of the country.
Going East
The Autobahns of the old East Germany are great to drive on: No traffic, with plenty of opportunity to go fast.
